Still chasing documents by email?

Every new customer starts with a handful of documents. Too often they arrive in pieces, across several inboxes, with someone keeping track in their head.

Part of Protect

A small team working together at a long shared table in a bright workspace

Know the business. Understand the people behind it.

Connect business details with the relevant directors, owners and representatives. Use available registry information to support the process, with evidence and discrepancies available for review.

Know who’s joining your space.

For desk and office members, vetting isn’t required by the Money Laundering Regulations. It’s how you protect your community and your reputation, so you choose proportionate checks that suit your space.

Virtual office and business address customers are different: the Money Laundering Regulations require customer due diligence before you start.

Activate when the requirements are met.

Keep service readiness visible. An order or payment should not leave your centre team guessing whether a customer is approved.

Your next action should be obvious.

Questions you might have

Does a successful identity check automatically approve the customer?
The workflow considers the wider customer file and required approvals. An individual check is one input into the decision.
Can an MLRO review cases?
Yes. Role-based compliance review and escalation are built in, including recorded decisions and supporting evidence.
Do we have to vet coworking and office members?
Not under the Money Laundering Regulations, as long as they don’t use your address. Many operators choose proportionate checks anyway, to protect their community and their reputation, and Protect lets you decide what that looks like. Virtual office and business address services are different: providing a business address makes you a trust or company service provider, and customer due diligence is required.

Stop spending so much time chasing the next document.
