Know your people. Protect your places.
Stay HMRC-ready with AML compliance built for virtual offices, and protect your reputation. Protect brings onboarding and vetting, compliance, mail and your address together, so your team knows who your customers are and what to do next.
It’s built for virtual offices, coworking and serviced offices: the checks the law requires for address services, and the vetting you choose for physical members, for security, your reputation and your community.

Handing it over doesn’t hand over the risk.
In the UK, providing a registered office, business or correspondence address as a business makes you a trust or company service provider under the Money Laundering Regulations.
That means registering with HMRC, checking every customer and keeping records you can show when asked. Giving half the revenue to someone else won’t necessarily take those duties off your plate, and HMRC does fine businesses that get it wrong.

Register before you start
HMRC says you must not offer the service until your registration as a trust or company service provider has been approved. Failing to register in time is behind most of the recent penalties in this sector.
Someone else’s checks are still your problem
If you rely on another business to check your customers, the regulations say you remain liable for any failure to carry out those checks properly.
No upper limit on fines
HMRC can set a civil penalty at whatever level it considers effective, proportionate and dissuasive. Serious breaches are a criminal offence carrying up to two years in prison.
The rules are strict. Following them shouldn’t be hard.
Whoeverly makes the day-to-day part simple, with every check, review and piece of evidence recorded in one place so you can show your work when HMRC asks.
A plain-English summary, not legal advice. Whether and how the rules apply depends on how your service is set up. Registration, policies, training and decisions stay your responsibility, and Whoeverly supports that work without guaranteeing compliance. See HMRC’s registration guidance and regulation 39 on relying on others, or speak to an adviser.
Five jobs, one connected record.
Not a booking or access system.
Whoeverly works alongside the software you already use, helping you find new members and know who’s in your building.
Inboxes, log books and a lot of remembering?
Onboarding lives in one inbox, mail in a log book, training records in a folder and decisions in someone’s head. Each part works. Together they leave gaps.
